The mouthpiece and accessory attachment are held in place by a strong magnet, and it feels very satisfying to snap them into place. They both feel very secure and are easy to swap out – a difficult combination to achieve, but Healthy Rips have managed it!

I Like It!
I have been having a great time with this vape and I heartily recommend it. The Rogue SE stacks up very nicely against the Mighty+ vape from Storz and Bickel and costs considerably less – it is currently available for less than half the price of the more venerable vape. As well as being cheaper the OLED screen is better, it feels nicer in the hand, and it’s a little smaller which makes it more portable.

I highly value the ability to set the temperature precisely as it allows me to experiment with different strains, and activate different terpenes to tailor the experience. The Rogue SE is small enough that I don’t mind bringing it out with me in a jacket pocket, and the battery is large enough that I’m not wasting my time. Healthy Rips boast about the large chamber size, and it does compare well to other portable vapes, but it still only holds 0.2g of ground flower which is not a lot of cannabis. Dosing capsules are available and you’re going to want them to preload if you plan on taking the Rogue out and about. The capsules feel very high quality, but they do reduce the size of the chamber quite a bit.
I like to vape through a bubbler or a gravity bong, so I recommend getting the Water Pipe Adapter as the free accessory if that promotion is still going as you read this. The Rogue performs very well at this – the Mighty+ is too heavy for all but the largest bubblers and you risk having them topple over, but the Rogue stays on the right side of physics!

The controls are pretty intuitive for day-to-day use, but if you want to adjust the settings you will have to reach for the manual. And why are vapes always so complicated to turn on? For this one you have to press the power button three times in two seconds – that’s not bad, but are you really going to remember it if you put it away for a couple of months?
